Leave my flowers behind
and step off the edge of the precipice which you hold dear
Tell me your secrets oh my precious pretentious one
I had a pet like you once
I split him into four evenly sized pieces
and gave one to the poor
One to the church
One to the winos
and one to my mother
Drank you like gin like water
No umbrella this time could drown in
the salty inebriating liquid
Dog, you crawl up by my side
screaming sweet words and whispering unintentional lies
to my alibis
In my bed I let you sleep
undisturbed for a little wile
Then wrapped you up in tin foil/and catapulted you to the stars
Alien, you found me
and insisted on counting my fingers and toes
Before asking me to take off my clothes
I didn’t mean to
Make you leave everything you’ve ever known
Here have my gallbladder sweet one
It is surely in better working condition than my heart
